Experience You can Trust

Sarah Tyndall, PT, MPT, OCS

Sarah is a Physical Therapist with over 18 years of practice and 11 years as a Board-Certified Orthopedic Specialist. Her experience ranges from children to older adults, with focused niche skills in Dance Medicine/Performing Arts and Foot & Ankle injuries. Sarah has worked with performers and students of Pennsylvania Ballet/PBII (now Philadelphia Ballet), Rock School for Dance Education, University of the Arts, touring shows “Phantom of the Opera” and “So You Think You Can Dance”, and many others in the Philadelphia region. She has also worked with medical and therapy team members for the Philadelphia Phillies, Eagles and Flyers while attending and presenting at Sports Medicine Symposiums.

From 2018-2023, Sarah spent over 5 years as a specialty Physical Therapy provider working for the US Army. Her time spent as an Orthopedic & Sports Medicine therapist in this setting has helped her develop a deeper understanding of fast-paced injury triage and treatment planning, compound lifts, and return to training programs for strength and conditioning.

Sarah has completed Comprehensive Pilates training through internationally recognized Balanced Body. The infusion of Pilates into Physical Therapy is natural and creates a deeper understanding of how and why the body performs the way it does. Additionally, Pilates creates a complimentary training style for almost any other activity or sport- Dance, Running, CrossFit, Hockey, Football, Baseball and more.

When not helping others learn to move or busy with behind-the scenes administrative work, Sarah can be found spending time with her husband on the DIY project of the month, outside if it’s a sunny day, or connecting with other providers all across the globe to continually grow her knowledge and skills.

Sarah is a Proud Member Of:

Casey Johnson, MS, OTR/L

Casey has been an Occupational Therapist since 2006. She is a NC native and attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (Go Tarheels!) for both undergraduate and graduate school. She started her career as an upper extremity and hand specialist, training under the amazing therapists at the Raleigh Hand to Shoulder Center. She has worked in acute care and outpatient rehab, as well as with school age children focusing on building hand skills and handwriting. Hand therapy always appealed to Casey as she recognized right away that we so often take the use of our hands for granted and loved being able to help people restore that independence for daily activities, hobbies and work.

With a background in dance and running, she began teaching group fitness in 1999 and continues to teach to this day. She recently expanded her skills to include Pilates training with Balanced Body. She loved the connection that Pilates brought to people’s lives and especially to their rehab and will be taking Pilates clients starting in March. As a lifelong learner, she is also pursuing interests in pelvic health and lymphedema to compliment her practice.

When she’s not teaching or seeing clients, she enjoys spending time with her husband, 4 boys and 2 Golden Retrievers, preferably in the mountains. Casey enjoys volunteering for the Neuse River Golden Retriever Rescue and her church, and also always has a good book or audiobook going, alongside a quilting project.

Levi (AKA Captain Leroy)

Levi was a rescue stray off the streets of Philly who came into Sarah’s life over 10 years ago. He is a sweet soul, loves his mama and has been with Sarah through meeting her husband, getting married, moving to NC and now starting her business. He doesn’t look his age (12+ years old, we think?) but he loves going for a ride, coming along with mom “working” for the day and getting pets from clients. He also enjoys lounging at home with dad, going to “school” (daycare) and will do almost anything for cheese!
